Jade and Harry’s October wedding at Shustoke Barn was full of atmosphere, music and energy from start to finish. The converted red-brick barn in Warwickshire is always a great setting to film in, with its high ceilings, dramatic lighting and courtyard space, and it suited their day perfectly.

The morning began at Jade’s family home, where she shared a first look with her dad before travelling to the barn. Harry and the groomsmen were already at Shustoke, welcoming guests as friends and family gathered for the ceremony. The service itself was personal and full of touches from family and friends. Jade’s brother played piano as she walked down the aisle and a series of readings made the ceremony feel relaxed and warm.

Throughout the day we worked alongside Michael White Photography and the flow of the day felt seamless. Having a photographer who shares a similar approach made it easy to capture the day naturally and without interruption.

After the first dance, Harry’s band Bengal Lancers reunited for a one-night-only set (much to the delight of Bengal Lancers biggest fan, Jade's Dad!), with Jade surprising everyone by joining them on keys for the opening track! The dancefloor filled instantly and didn’t let up, with The Smooth Sailors keeping the energy high into the night.

It was the kind of wedding that felt true to them – full of family, friends and music.

As a Shustoke Barn videographer, my top three moments of the day: Ok, I'm going with a rare FOUR top moments for this wedding! The perfect light and colour palette in the ceremony. The ceremony space at Shustoke Barn is really beautiful and the right kind of Autumn light made for such a beautiful piece of the film. The Bengal Lancers + Jade set in the evening – what a moment! The energy in the room was electric as Harry’s band played, and Jade joined them on keys for a truly unforgettable performance. this was such a brilliant surprise for the guests. As a big music fan myself, it was genuinely hard to focus on filming because as it was an amazing performance to watch, but capturing this reunion for them was an absolute joy. I LOVED Smooth Sailors. It was such a great booking by H&J, they're unlike any other band I've ever seen at a wedding, they're so talented with a such a good take on all your party favourites! And finally, just how lovely Harry and Jade are. Honestly, they are the kind of couple who make everyone around them feel at ease. Their warmth, humour, and obvious love for each other shone through every part of the day, big love H+J!
